Our Story
We are a community of neighbors who believe that every person deserves dignity, warmth, and care — no matter their circumstances.

Who We Are
The RORI Project — Reaching Out, Restoring Individuals — is a grassroots non-profit organization dedicated to serving the homeless community with practical care and genuine human connection.
We were founded on the belief that the most powerful thing one person can do for another is simply show up. Not with judgment. Not with conditions. Just with a warm meal, a clean shirt, and the willingness to look someone in the eye and say: you matter.
What started as a small act of kindness has grown into a weekly community movement — powered by volunteers, sustained by donors, and driven by the people we serve.
Restoration begins the moment someone feels seen.
What Guides Us
Every person we serve is treated with the same respect and care we would want for ourselves or our own family. No one is reduced to their circumstances here.
We are not an outside organization parachuting in. We are neighbors serving neighbors — born from this community and committed to it for the long haul.
A hot meal matters. So does a clean shirt and a hygiene bag. We address practical needs because we believe meeting people where they are is the first step toward restoration.
150+ volunteers. One shared purpose.
Our volunteers are the heartbeat of everything we do.
Whether you give your time, your resources, or simply spread the word — you have a role to play in restoring hope in our community.
